Great innovation is a priority


With knowing the nature of tea, Ranong Tea invests with machinery innovation by packing tea in aluminium foil package instead of paper bag like many other brands, this would help preserving the quality, taste and colour to be fresh in every tea brewing. As tea acts as scent absorber, containing tea in sachet would cause aromatic scent to fade when contact with air and light which is the main factor that reduce tea quality. The habit of Thai consumers in drinking tea is less frequent than the Europeans, this also an important factor to be focusing on packaging innovation as priority. 

Furthermore, Ranong Tea carefully selects tea producer on the “contact farm” model, searching and cooperate with farmers who plant tea and comprehend with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Contact Point) standards, as it proves that the business qualified and passed  several steps of inspection emphasizing on scientific analysis and have scientifically proved by GAT that the products are not contaminated by any parasite toxins in which Ranong Tea team provide knowledge of planting and tea selection to develop into organic product. The first phase is limited in term of production quantity, Ranong tea begins to make demonstration planting plots giving an opportunity for farmers to study. Next year, Ranong Tea will begin the development by working along with local farmers and farms to create new job opportunities and additional income.

Ranong Tea communicates with the target group by constantly provide information on benefits of tea in various activities such as booth events, brochure handouts, article in magazines and most importantly through social media including Facebook, Line and Twitter to create correct understanding and gain confidence among customers. Ranong Tea received certifications from numbers of legitimate associations, as proof for the credibility of production system, including - BRC (The British Consortium) in which the exports need to be qualified by this association before entering United Kingdom and must audited for human resource management, purchasing processes, cost comparison and departments KPI check. The factories are qualified by GMP or HACCP which start from production procedures, production planning, ingredients quality inspection, ingredients blending, packaging, delivery as well as retrospective document that can be checked too.



Ranong Tea has long proof of expertise in herbal beverage and has plan to bring new sensation to the products such as blending green tea with mint flavour or adding strawberry flavour to traditional Thai black tea for European market or even blending Mulberry tea with traditional folk wisdom herbal flavours like ginger, lemon grass, and bale fruit as aromatic tea for international consumers.
