APPLICANT’S QUALIFICATIONS FOR
THAILAND TRUST MARK
1. A corporation registered as an export member of the DITP in four categories, including

  • (1) Exporter List (EL)
  • (2) Pre-Exporter (Pre-EL)
  • (3) Trading Company (TDC)
  • (4) Pre Trading Company (Pre-TDC)

2. Must have national and/or international standards certification for products and services.

  • 2.1 For products and services that can be governed by such standards, applicants must have.
  • 2.2 For gems and jewelry, applicants must obtain the ‘Buy with Confidence’ (BWC) mark from the Gem and Jewelry Institute of
  • 2.3 For other products that may not require regulatory standards such as fashion items (clothing/ leather/artificial accessories) and home decoration items, applicants should submit the following supporting documents
  • Customer/importer certificate or referenceletter
  • Relevant association certificate that assures the quality of products recognized in their respective country.

3. Products and services that originate within the country must comply with the following terms and conditions

  • 3.1 Must be products and services that originate within the country (either made in Thailand, and/or have a manufacturing facility in Thailand) or
  • 3.2 If the product uses imported materials, those materials must be used for manufacturing in Thailand and/or adding value/building a brand for export.
4. Certified under the Green Industry Standard – 2nd level by the Ministry of Industry, Royal Thai Government.


5. Certified under Thai Labor Standard (TLS 8001-2010) at a basic level at minimum by the Ministry of Labour, Royal Thai Government.


6. Must complete the CSR in Process self-assessment form and will be required to follow at least four of the seven CSR-DIW Principles by Ministry of Industry, Royal Thai Government.


7. Export value over the past three years must have exceeded five million baht per annum on average, or domestic sales value over the past three years must have exceeded five million baht.

  • 7.1 The average total sales value of Micro entrepreneurs over the past 2 years ranged from 1 to 1.8 million baht, or the average export value over the past 2 years was no less than 1 million baht.
  • 7.2 The average total sales value of the S group of entrepreneurs over the past 3 years ranged from 1.8 to 100 million baht, or the average export value over the past 3 years was not less than 1.8 million baht.
  • 7.3 The M/L group of entrepreneurs has an average total sales value over the past 3 years of not less than 100 million baht, or an average export value over the past 3 years of not less than 5 million baht.

QUALIFICATION FOR THAILAND TRUST MARK MEMBER
In the marketing world, big words and bold graphics are tossed around to entice customers. However, in the international trade arena where quality is paramount, one needs to be able to look beyond advertising campaigns and find a reliable means to measure merit. No matter how one defines quality, it is always reassuring to have a benchmark that can gauge the essence of excellence. To facilitate this process, Thailand Trust Mark was created under the Royal Thai Government, through the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce. corporate value i.e.
